Punjab’s Green E-Taxi Plan for Youth Employment 2025

Punjab has officially initiated the Green E-Taxi Scheme 2025, which is specifically designed to render environmentally friendly jobs for the youth while encouraging green transport throughout the province. Young citizens shall be able to acquire electric and hybrid taxis on easy installments under this scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
• Be Pakistani citizens (preferably with Punjab domicile).
• Be between 21 and 45 years old.
• Hold a valid CNIC and a valid driving license.
• Belong to the low-income segment of society.
Applicants with a criminal record, higher income levels, or those outside the age limit will not be eligible.
Required Documents
• CNIC and valid driving license.
• Passport-size photo.
• Proof of address (domicile or utility bill).
• Bank account details.
• NTN or business information (for those applying for multiple vehicles).

Application Process
Interested candidates must register on the official online portal using their CNIC and phone number. After OTP verification, applicants can fill in their details, choose their preferred city, and select either a hybrid or electric taxi.
Once documents are uploaded and approved, successful applicants will complete the bank process and receive a schedule for taxi delivery.
The Punjab government has urged applicants to submit their forms at the earliest, as the final deadline will be announced on the official portal.
