PCB announced Team for ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The PCB on Wednesday revealed a 15-player squad to participate in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Four newcomers enter the 15-player squad who played the last ODI series against South Africa, last year.
The four men who replace them in the 15-player squad are Abdullah Shafiq, Mohammad Irfan Khan, Saim Ayub, and Sufyan Muqeem, while Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Khushdil Shah, and Saud Shakeel are out.
Pakistan has named an all-rounder 15 man side. Batting would consist of Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Kamran Ghulam, Saud Shakeel and Tayyab Tahir. All rounder slot would be taken up by Faheem Ashraf, Khushdil Shah and Salman Ali Agha who is vice-captain as well. The two wicket keeping batsmen selected are Mohammad Rizwan who would also be captain, and Usman Khan.

Pakistan has some of the best fast bowlers, including Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Naseem Shah, and Shaheen Shah Afridi. Abrar Ahmed is a good all-around bowling spinner, who is also an all-rounder and bowls spinning. The country has announced their national team for Champions Trophy.
Pakistan is set to host the Champions Trophy from 19 Feb till 9 Mar. The PCB would have till 11th February to change the squad, and after that date, any change in the squad would be accepted only by the ICC Event Technical Committee if that is being done for medical reasons.

These are the same players who would also play in the tri-nation ODI series that is scheduled to be played in Karachi and Lahore before the Champions Trophy, and the remaining two teams with whom they would be competing with are New Zealand and South Africa.
Pakistan are going to play their first match against New Zealand on 19 February in Karachi.
